Petrofac Emirates was established in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE), to provide a full range of engineering, design, procurement and construction services for major onshore oil and gas, refining and petrochemical projects.

Petrofac Emirates was formed in 2008 as a strategic joint venture between Petrofac and Mubadala Petroleum. Petrofac increased its economic interest in the Company in 2013 to 75%, with the remaining 25% now owned by Nama Project Services LLC.

During the early phase of the Company, we were awarded the GASCO – 4th NGL Train and ADCO – Asab full field development projects which underpinned our evolving operations in the Emirate.

Ongoing projects:

  • US$515 million offshore EPIC contract for the Satah Al Razboot (SARB) package 3 project
  • US$3.7 billion EPCC contract for the Upper Zakum field (UZ750 Project – EPC 2 Package) in consortium with Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co Ltd
  • Joint venture with Bechtel for the engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCm) of Emirates Global Aluminium’s Al Taweelah Alumina project
  • Developing the curriculum and delivering competency gap closure training for ADMA-OPCO, as well as work experience training of female engineers for ZADCO
